The damage at Moo 1 in tambon Chongsadao included a concrete block wall knocked down at the home of Somkid Jukul, and fruit orchards around the village stripped of fruit and the trees damaged. Elephants' footprints and dung were left throughout the village. She said wild elephants often entered villages in tambon Chongsadao to forage for food, which made local people so fearful.
